* 1 package McCormack’s chili seasoning – hot&lt;br /&gt;
* 3 cans tomato sauce&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 cans red kidney beans - optional&lt;br /&gt;
* 4 tbsp hot pepper sauce&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 tsp garlic&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 tbsp crushed red pepper&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 tsp ground black pepper&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;DIRECTIONS&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
1. Prepare ground beef and set aside&lt;br /&gt;
a. Crumble&lt;br /&gt;
b. Fry&lt;br /&gt;
c. Drain&lt;br /&gt;
2. Blanch onion and set aside&lt;br /&gt;
3. Prepare hot sausage in a large pot&lt;br /&gt;
a. Crumble&lt;br /&gt;
b. Fry&lt;br /&gt;
c. DO NOT DRAIN&lt;br /&gt;
4. Add ground beef and onion&lt;br /&gt;
5. Add pepperoni&lt;br /&gt;
6. Add tomato sauce&lt;br /&gt;
7. Bring ingredients to a boil, stirring frequently&lt;br /&gt;
8. Add McCormack’s mixture&lt;br /&gt;
9. Add remaining ingredients&lt;br /&gt;
10. Chile is ready to eat, but for best results, simmer for 2 to 4 hours, stir occasionally&lt;br /&gt;
11. Add kidney beans if desired&lt;br /&gt;

The pepperoni will leach salt into the chili as it simmers. DO NOT ADD SALT. The chili can&lt;br /&gt;
