  • 6 golden delicious apples (around 3 pounds)
  • 1 package of crusts (no shame)((remember to take them out of the fridge at the beginning))
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (1-2 tbsps)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Peel apples and slice thinly
  2. Put in big bowl and cover with boiling water. Allow to sit for 10 minutes and drain thoroughly.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients
  4. Combine dry ingredients, apples, and lemon juice
  5. Assemble pie
  6. Bake 50-60 minutes at 375 degrees. Cover crust edges in foil after 30 minutes.
