- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2.75 cups flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract OR 1-2 tsp almond extract
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- Combine butter, sugar, eggs, and extract of choice
- Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in separate bowl
- Mix together!
- Chill dough for 15 minutes
- Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon
- Roll 1 inch balls of dough in cinnamon sugar mixture to coat
- Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees, 10 minutes per batch
