INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. mozzarella
  • Sliced provolone – 6 – 8 slices
  • Classico brand Dinapoli flavored pasta sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 pinches garlic

DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Combine sauce and spices in a sauce pan on medium heat 3. Grind sauce into a smooth puree 4. In a large pot, brown ground beef 5. Drain beef and add to sauce 6. Cook pasta in pot – follow box directions 7. Drain pasta 8. Add pasta, sauce and mozzarella to pot, mix thoroughly 9. Add half of mixture to baking pan, cover with provolone slices 10. Add remaining mixture, cover with provolone or mozzarella 11. Cover and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
