Crock Pot Ribs

  • 5-6 lb.s baby back ribs
  • 1-2 cups cider vinegar barbecue sauce


  • 4 tablespoons light brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 1.5 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 0.5 tablespoon chili powder
  • 0.5 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tablespoon jalapeno seasoning (optional)
  • 0.5 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 0.5 tablespoon rubbed thyme
  • 0.5 tablespoon onion powder
  • 0.5 tablespoon garlic powder


  1. Mix rub ingredients
  2. Rib ribs and allow to sit in the fridge wrapped in plastic wrap 12-24 hours
  3. Place ribs in slow cooker standing them upright with the meaty side against the wall of the cooker.
  4. Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs
  5. Cook on low for 4-5 hours until tender
