Chili
- 2 lbs ground beef or turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Spice Mixture:
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 4 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp red pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can cord, drained and rinsed
- 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 6oz can tomato paste
- 1 can green chilies, or 1 fresh jalapeno (sauteed with ingredients from step 1)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Saute first four ingredients until cooked, then add spice mixture. Cook for two minutes until spices are fragrant. Dump into crock pot.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook on low for at least 2 hours
